Pre.Stapleton
Prior to the airport, Stapleton site was utilized as grazing area. The site has housed gunpowder, landfills, and a jail.

Stapleton Airport
Many chemicals were released into the soil and water on the stapleton site in the 30 years of operation.

Plumes
Pin-sized holes in the re-fueling system has caused extensive contamination of soil and water with petrol products.

Phytoremediation
Contaminates could be safely and sustainably remediated with plants in the same amount of time allotted for purchase of the property.

Master Plan
The collaboration that generated the master plan for Stapleton Redevelopment appears to disregard contamination locations.
